Enable automatic play during import in iTunes 8

I'm glad this is gone. It always annoyed me when I was importing a CD on another computer. They probably could have made it an option, though, instead of eliminating the preference completely.

But, in previous versions, there WAS an option to activate, or not, this feature. :-)

If I remember correctly (and I may not), you could only auto import and play, not just auto import but not play.

Enable automatic play during import in iTunes 8

I was hoping this might enable another missing feature -- the way iTunes used to auto-play a track that was imported via double-clicking the audio file -- but it doesn't. I add a lot of tracks to iTunes by double-clicking, and I need them to play, when I do so. Now I have to sit and wait for the import, then hit play.

I understand -- and welcome -- the process of refining apps, but I hate the apparent assumption that no one used or preferred the previous behavior.

If you guys can find that preference somewhere, please share....
