Show all events in iCal search results

It's not an underscore, but rather quote-space, as I wrote in the hint. (I put the underscore to indicate that it's not just a quote character.) Quote alone didn't work for me. Apostrophe does, though.

Could it be that your system has German quotes, not the dumb quotes we use in English? If so, that might make a difference.

Kirk

For me (US System), the " works to show all events. The ' only shows events that have a ' in them, as in "Dad's birthday".

And using . shows only a selection of events, and seems to be very slow. It also seems to give different results at different times. Sometimes it shows only events in my "Birthdays calendar", sometimes it shows events only for a 10 year period. Right now it shows nothing after 2004. Strange.

I also noted quite strange behaviour in iCal 10.5, it sadly seems to be quite buggy :-/.

@kirkmc: Sorry for misreading your post. For whatever reason a simple quote works on my system, it's not a quotation mark.
