Watching video podcasts on the iPhone and iPod touch

A bad thing, if you ask me. Down to one single choice from the two we had. It was supposed to be there to give the option of saving battery life. Why is that not a good idea anymore?

What's worst, selecting a video in the Music section and locking the screen stops the audio! In order to keep it playing you have to start it, lock the screen (which will force a stop), click the Home button to bring the screen back on, and double click the Home button again to tell it to frigging keep playing the audio even if the screen is off (and then lock it back).

How is having less a better feature?

(Note: playback will not stop if a video is part of a playlist and the screen was locked before its audio starts playing).
