Xtools circumvents Apple Installer problems
The latest Xtools 1.0.2 does not cause any installation problems on a clean install of OS X. The only people who have had problems (just two that we know of including Wolf) had previous (beta) versions of Mac OS X installed before they updated to OS X Final and then further updated to 10.0.1. In cases where people installed Mac OS X on a reformatted partion, the installation of Xtools is flawless, even over a previous beta of Xtools. We have some guidance on our web site about this "dirty install" problem: http://www.tenon.com/products/xtools/install.shtml |
