Make a Pandora (or any web page) into a program

I love my Pandora radio also and wanted to have it without a browser window open too. The easiest and nicest way I found was already available to me in Leopard. If you open Pandora in Safari, click File>Open in Dashboard click on the Pandora radio player, adjust the size to your liking then click add and you will have a nice little Pandora radio in your dashboard that plays your music in the background. The web clip widget will even let you add a nice frame around it and as far as I can tell the radio is fully functional. I can thumbs up/down songs and create new stations. Hope this helps somebody. I hate to download 3rd party software for things like this.

I'd be interested how you get this to work because I actually tried this prior to looking into Fluid.app and I found that the music would stop playing whenever I left Dashboard. Plus each time I opened Dashboard it would have to reload the player.
