Switch spaces via gestures on newer laptops
I cannot switch between spaces if a space is empty. When I switch to a empty space it get´s stuck in the space that has no app running. Any idea on that?

Probably because when you switch to an "empty" space, you're switched to the Finder. See the warning about the Finder in the hint.

So basically if there is a space with no app you have to manually choose an app to get back to Multiclutch. Kinda downs the purpose of being able to switch between spaces using the touchpad :)

I'm not sure how it works, but a few hours after setting up multiclutch, the desktop issue fixes itself. It stops working again on reboot, but again, work for a while and it will fix itself. This could just be a quirk with my configuration, and as MultiClutch isn't open-source (hint hint, Will Henderson) I have no idea what's going on.
At any rate, another workaround is to put an empty TextEdit window (or any non-Finder window) on any blank desktops. HTH

sry to gravedig, but just do Quick Look on a file on the desktop and the Finder will respond to all gestures |
