CaliBrate - Make batch iCal changes

Yeah well, waste of money and time. Sorry to say but all those functions you describe they are ALREADY INCLUDED in iCal. So why spend $8 for something that is useless. I suggest to spend your time researching in what a mac CANNOT do instead of posting stuff like this.

Cheers

iCal can find and remove duplicates?

my ical is a mess. I used CaliBrate to easily see a list of all these dupes, and other unnecessary entries.

Also being a Palm user who had Datebk3/4/5, I have many entries with a bunch of junk in the notes. So I searched for "##" in the notes with CaliBrate (which oddly iCal couldn't even do), and was able to clear all those notes out. Had iCal actually performed this search, I wouldn't have been able to edit them all at once.

If what CaliBrate does were already in iCal, do you think I would have taken the time to develop it? iCal does not allow you to batch process events. Sure, you can search in a rudimentary way, but then you can't do anything with multiple events other than view them. In theory iCal can delete old events, but when CaliBrate was first developed it wasn't working on Leopard and it may still not be. iCal does nothing with duplicates, its search functions are limited, and on an on. Please, before you post a comment like this, make sure you have at least investigated what the product actually does. Thank you.

Thanks for the review, MacOSXHints editors!

This app is very helpful, ICAL definitely doesn't allow for modification of events in batches. Calibrate is a major timesaver.
