Let Siri give a random number iOS devices
Siri can returna random number, letter, or word.

After reading Lex's hint about rolling the dice and flipping a coin, I decided to see whether Siri can generate random numbers. It can have Wolfram do it. You can speak "random number" (which it interprets as "random integer"), "random integer", or "random real". You can also specify ranges, such as "random number between ten and 100" or "random real between 20 and 30".

"Random word" and "random letter" also work.

Let Siri give a random number

Fun hint! Just tried "Give me a random number between five and 17 inclusive." Siri figured out the words properly, then returned the result of 890. "Give me a random number between one and 10 inclusive." Result? 307. Siri gets points for style (properly spelling out numbers less than 10), but not for accurate results.

Further investigation shows that "random number" does not take parameters, but "random integer" and "random real" do. I don't know how I missed that the first time around.

It is fun, but technically, Siri (or Wolfram Alpha) gives a pseudo-random rational number, not a real number.
