A recommendation: in the accompanying Read Me.pdf, add a section showing people that the action can use workflow variables in any of the title, subtitle, and message fields in order to create dynamically generated notifications. Some folks might not realize that this can be done otherwise.

Works within a Automator Workflow but not within a Services created with Automator.

I would like the popup notification of currently playing tune in iTunes to last longer. Does anyone know if the duration is adjustable?

my hint was never posted but my command line tool MountainNotifier can post to the notification center and allows setting title,subtitle,message AND a custom icon:
