[crarko adds: I don't have a Magic Mouse to try this; I'm guessing it's analogous to the two-finger swipe up with the trackpad. Try it out and let us know if it worked; also if it's around in 10.7.1 or earlier.]

I just noticed that you can double tap the Magic Mouse with two fingers to enter Mission Control. If that feature was present before 10.7.2 it slipped under my radar. I find this new feature kinda handy; it speeds my workflow quite a bit.

i guess you have been missing out on a great feature ever since Lion was realized…i spotted this after some of my users wanted to buy the track pad and i suggested to them keep the magic mouse hence it also has similar gesture features…

similar perhaps, but a much smaller set. This is about the only one, other than sideways (inertial) scrolling.
Yep...always there, but thanks for posting
Yes, it has always been there, however, thank you for posting it because it is not obvious and there are many that will miss it. ---
Windows because I have to. OS X because I want to.
10.7: Magic Mouse and Mission Control in 10.7.2
I can't stand any of these 'double tap' things - not because I don't think they're useful, but because they require a very quick motion which my uncoordinated hand can only perfom once in a while by accident. I always have to turn off all these 'double tap to...' options because I am physically unable to invoke them on purpose, but I occasionalIy invoke them accidentally when I don't want them. It seems the speed at which you have to double tap is almost twice as fast as the double click speed, and I see no way to change that. I have no problem with the double click speed, and would very much like the double tap speed to be the same. So does anyone know if I can change this?

NO NO NO it is not working I have spend more than 4 days and I haven't done even one so all of you that comment have you try it? And anonymous how about you? Most of the time things work here if you try hard this one NO to me I have even disable extensions like "Highlight to Search (by Google)" and NO. I own a trackpad too but along is not enough so I want my mouse to do Mission Control but "NO" |
