Identify the print jobs in the queue Printers
If you double-click a print job in a printer's queue, it will open a Quick Look window showing the printing preview of that job. Especially useful when the file names don't have descriptive titles.

[crarko adds: I tested this, and it works as described. Simple, fun, and I would not have guessed to try this.]

Quick Look is a choice in the Jobs menu. The post got me wondering if it would apply to the list of completed jobs, but no there is no Quick Look if the job is completed. However Info does apply to jobs in the completed list. Haven't looked at that list in a while, There were two years worth of completed print jobs in the list. Might be interesting if one were interested in printer usage. I just did select all and command delete to clear the list figuring it was using space somewhere on my drive.
