The same two-finger swipe also moves you forward and back in iCal. It works just the same as clicking the forward and back arrows around the day/week/month view control at the top of the iCal window.

Move forward and back in iCal with the Magic Mouse
Yep. My guess is that a two-finger Magic Mouse swipe will always work exactly the same as a three-finger multitouch trackpad swipe.

Trying not sound to sound like my nose is unduly in the air, but... really?! My main problem with posting this hint comes down to, mostly, editorial inconsistency: not "quality" of the hint (I read the Finer Things blogs, which less-frequently-than-here do come up with some genuine nuggets). While we're at it, though, swipe-to-navigate also works in the Finder. And on the iTunes Store. And Mail. And Address Book. And Preview. And Bento, too. Apologies to the poster or anyone to whom this was useful, as this feature is one of the truly, deliciously nice to use features of the Magic Mouse and recent trackpads. And, see the very-recent-hint about BetterTouchTool to learn how to customize the existing gestures *and more* with key combinations. My favorite Magic Mouse-related 'gestures' are the addition of 1, 2 and 3-fingered tap-to-click and the companion 3-finger click.
