10.6: Resume non-iTunes Videos in Front Row Apps
The ability to resume videos that are not in iTunes (i.e. loose video files in your Movies folder) is back in Snow Leopard's Front Row! It was there in Tiger, but was, for some reason, broken in Leopard (until 10.5.7 anyway; I never installed 10.5.8). I confess: I missed this feature so much that I stuck with Tiger on my mini media center.

I thought this had something to do with the new QuickTime X only, but Snow Leopard's Front Row version is now 1.1, up from Leopard's 1.0, so maybe that's it instead.

Yes, I posted about this a couple weeks ago here:

It is great news, but one thing is still keeping me on Tiger for my TV-connected mac mini, the lack of the 30-second skip forward (and 10 second skip back.) If anyone can figure out how to customize skip times, that would be awesome.

If you pause a movie, skipping takes you 10 seconds forward or back - I don't know any way to customise those times.

Good stuff, any luck finding the setting for using base-2 sizes again?
