One way to email contact info from an iPhone iOS devices
More of a workaround than a hint, and a pretty obvious one (once I'd thought about it). If you need to email a contact's details to a friend or colleague, you can take a screen shot of the relevant details, then email the copy in your camera roll to the friend or colleague.

You can't get all the info on one page, so you might end up with two or three screenshots, but this could be handy if you need to send your Mum the address of your wife's parents.

Still, for a communication device, you'd have thought Apple would have had a nicer way of doing this, and via SMS, too.

Cool! But I didn't know how to do an iPhone screenshot. Here, thanks to http://www.on-a-mac.com/2008/07/12/iphone-screenshot/

Taking iPhone Screenshots

Navigate the iPhone to the screen you want to create an image of
While holding the Home button, press and release the Lock Sleep/Wake buttonYour screen will flash letting you know that the screenshot was taken
Navigate to your Camera Roll library (Photos)The most recent image should be the screencapture you just created

You can also download an app that my company made. It's called Contacts2Go. It's 99 cents. If you have problems using it, I'm the guy who takes care of customers who email us for support.

... or you can download the (free) application FREECONTACT from the AppStore:

http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=297807464&mt=8

to let you send email with all the contact info (in a simple text or VCF format)

Bye
