Save PDF attachments directly to Yojimbo Apps

I stumbled upon this tip today after being frustrated by the two-step process of getting PDF email attachments from Mail into Yojimbo: First save the PDF to disk, then add the PDF to Yojimbo.

Instead, Control-clcik the PDF icon or preview that appears in the body of your email message and select Open With, and then pick Yojimbo from the submenu that appears.

The PDF is imported into Yojimbo, ready for you to re-name and add tags.

What is this, Windows? It was never a two-step process to begin with. You have a document in Mail/Finder/iPhoto/Safari/Firefox, you drag it out of the program you're in, and onto the dock icon of Yojimbo. Or into the Yojimbo main window or sidebar. Done.

I wouldn't download (much less pay for) any OS X software that acted any differently.

Sometimes people forget how easy OS X is!

Yes, the fact that Yojimbo appeared in the "Open With..." menu for PDFs should have been the first clue that you can also drag-and-drop PDFs on to Yojimbo's icon or window.

Really, why is this a hint? You can directly control-click the attachment icon from Mail.app and get the "Open with" submenu.
