More secure iCal-MobileMe calendar publishing Apps
When you publish iCal calendars to MobileMe, if you just click through the defaults, you will end up putting calendars under your username with filenames like Home.ics and Work.ics. Smart and curious folks will then be able to hunt down your calendars and view them if they know your MobileMe login name (which is often your email name.)

There simple way to work around this. When you publish the calendar, there is a field called "Publish calendar as." In that box, change the value of Home or Work to something more secure like "Home38926x334" or "Work-yuck695." No, it isn't SSL password protection, but at least it will be a lot harder for strangers to snoop into your personal information. It probably is still good to note that if you're on public WiFi, snoopers can still see your URL. This is not terribly secure, but I think it might be helpful.
