Display UTC on the iPhone's World Clock iOS devices
For some hobbies and businesses, it's necessary to use Coordinated Universal Time or UTC, which is similar to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). The iPhone World Clock can display several separate clocks, so I thought it might work to add London as a substitute for Greenwich, which was not listed. But on a lark I typed utc in the search for city dialog, and it came up! Once selected, I had a clock dedicated to UTC. This is better than using a nearby city, as it should avoid problems with daylight saving time changes.

Display UTC on the iPhone's World Clock

I really found this tip useful. The only problem is that the time is displayed in 12-hour format (am/pm). UTC is best used in 24-hour format.

Is there any way to change the format of only the UTC clock without changing all time formats?

On my desktop, I solved that puzzle using Safari's webclip function, selecting just the time display here:

I think the iPhone allows webclips, too.

You can set ALL the clocks to 24 hour mode in Settings>General
