Jump to slides via Apple Remote in Keynote '08 Apps
When using the Apple Remote with Keynote '08, pressing the Menu button displays a heads-up display with a scroller to jump to any slide in the presentation.

Can you do this without the remote while you are in presentation mode as well? That would be helpful for me. All I use right now is the +/- to get a tiny thumbnail of what slides are next/previous. Can't ever see the thumbnails either. Thx!

Absolutely! Use the "=" or "-" keys.

When in a slide show, press "/" to see the keys that you can use in slide show mode.

This also works in Keynote '06. I've ben using it for awhile, but never thought to submit it as a hint.

Hitting any of the number keys will also bring up the slide switcher in presentation mode.
