10.5: Organize Automator workflows in Finder menu Desktop
I think this is only possible in 10.5, but you can now organize Automator workflows in the Finder's contextual menu. Go to ~Library » Workflows » Applications » Finder, create folders, then drag and drop your workflows into them to organize them.

This is very handy if you have a lot of workflows there (which I do).

yes, but in Leopard you have to navigate an extra menu to get to the automator workflows anyway, which is just WRONG.

Is there some way to bring the automator workflows menu back to where it was in tiger?

Yea, you're right there.

And I'd also like to know how to get it back into the context menu, rather than the sub menu where it is now.

your hint does work though.

I do mind that extra menu step so when I noticed this change right after installing Leopard I decided to change a bunch of workflows so they would work on the applescript menu on the menubar but here they take for ever to launch, anywhere between 10 to 30 seconds. Leopard man WHAT A DOG.

Thanks for the tip.. in fact, this is the best Mac site there is. I wonder why Apple doesn't share out more of this.

I must say, that I too am very disappointed with the extra menu steps and long load times for automator now. Any way around this? I'd really like to edit what shows up in the contextual menus directly.
