10.5: Toggle Quick Look's view mode via the keyboard System 10.5
If you select a number of files in the Finder and activate Quick Look (by pressing the Space Bar), you can then see either one file at a time (the default), or by clicking the Index Sheet button, see small versions of all selected files at once.

But did you know you can get to the Index Sheet without touching the mouse? Just press Command-Return while viewing one file, and you'll see all files; press the combo again, and you'll return to single file mode (and yes, adding Shift to the mix will do it all in slow motion).

thanks for a very useful hint. This also works when in a slideshow, I really missed just pressing "i" like in Tiger and thought there was no updated key combo.

This is unrelated but, is there some way to adjust the grey of the quicklook semitransparent window to make it more transparent? I've looked everywhere for a way to do this...

While in index mode, you can also navigate with the arrow keys. When you select an item, pressing just the return key will show just that image/file.

Nice find. Any chance of a similar key combo to switch to full screen in quick look? That would be most useful - cmd-option-y does it straight from Finder but a key combo from the 'space' opened quick look would be cool.

I've tried a lot of different combinations but didn't find anything that made it go fullscreen.

But I just learned about Command-Option-y because of this thread, real handy.
BTW, to get out of the slideshow (after Command-Option-y) you can use the Esc-key.
