On a whim I tried getting Leopard's iCal to subscribe to my private Google Calendar feed, which it has previously not been able to cope with due to the https:// protocol being used. It now works fine!

10.5: iCal now accepts subscriptions via https
Is anyone having trouble publishing calendars in Leopard that published properly in Tiger? My work calendar has a fair amount of data, but will not publish. iCal complains of a "code 30" in its failure popup. I have tried export/new calendar/import/publish, and it still doesn't work.

In Tiger you could just have used http instead of https. that worked just fine for me. the added security of my data is a welcome addition though

@lastfuture, I tried that and it didn't work for me. I should qualify that I am using a hosted domain setup, so perhaps that worked for 'standard' Google accounts. BTW, are you "lastfuture" as on the PMN? |
