10.5: Move the iCal editor pop-up window Apps
Leopard's iCal replaces the event editor palette and drawer with a pop-up window that points to the event being edited. The problem with this is that it occludes other events that you may need to see. If you need to see these entries, simply click on an area in the pop-up that doesn't contain a widget, and drag the window out of the way.

This feature wasn't immediately obvious me because I assumed that the pop-up was "pinned" to the event. Not so.

speaking of "pinned", this interface has vertical pinstripes. It took us six years to get rid of the pinstripes and someone decided to introduce vertical ones and put them there? Maybe it's some kind of a joke.

Mouse wheel control over date and time elements is not working for me as it does under 10.4. I have reported it as a iCal/Leopard bug.

not only that, but where the calendar display used to change relative to what date you had at that moment for the due date, now you have to tab out of the date field entirely before it updates.

Just don't do the move *BEFORE* you click the "EDIT" button or the stupid pop-up will reset itself to where it was.

That's a bad popup. Bring back the drawer.
