10.5: Drag and drop and toggle hidden in app switcher System 10.5
It seems in 10.5 the Application Switcher now receives dropped files -- drag a file, press Command-Tab, then drop the dragged file onto an application in the switcher window.

[robg adds: While testing this hint, I noticed another change in the app switcher: pressing "H" is now a toggle. In 10.4, pressing "H" would hide the currently-highlighted app in the switcher, but there was no way to unhide it again. In 10.5, "H" merely flips the hidden state of the chosen app. Note that this is not a duplicate of this hint, which simply noted you could drag, Command-Tab to a new app, then drop. Now, finally, you can drop directly onto icons in the Command-Tab palette itself.]

Q and H have also been fixed in Leopard to work on alternative keyboard layouts. In Tiger and earlier it assumed that you were using QWERTY.

Fantastic! I've requested this feature since day one. I find it much easier than targeting the Dock icon.

Now I need to tweak my habits again to use this :)

You can also use Q while tabbing to quit applications quickly.

Let me do some advertising for LiteSwitch, I have been using it from day one, mainly since I can use "A" to hide all other apps and also since I can move the position and customize a lot of other stuff (eg exclude certain apps)

Agreed -- LiteSwitch is still a killer add-on for me. I was quite please to discover it still works great in Leopard ;-)

There is yet another change from 10.4: entering a repeated Command-(left/right) arrow would take you left/right until you reached the end of the application switcher and then it would "re-enter" the list at the far end.

Unfortunately this is no longer possible. When you get to the end of the list, you stay there.

Any idea, how I can reproduce 10.4 behavior?
