10.5: Navigate, copy, and more in Quick Look mode System 10.5
When you have used the new Quick Look feature on any document, you can then use the arrow keys (or the mouse) to navigate, just like normal Finder operation. This means that with a little keyboard command wrangling (especially command-~ to cycle windows), you can keep Quick Look open as you browse through folders, connected volumes, etc..

Additionally, when in Quick Look mode, you can use Command-C to Copy the previewed items to your clipboard -- exactly like you'd expect.

[robg adds: The Quick Look window seems to behave as an Inspector window -- floating, and changing as your Finder selections change. Since the Finder is the frontmost app, the copy feature is that of the Finder, not Quick Look.]

quick look confuses me a bit and maybe they are working out the kinks. if you apple option and click the quicklook eye it switches to a play button and goes to full screen but never does a slideshow as advertised. also while in full screen mode you cannot arrow to next item. anyone having same issue?

I actually found a way around this... While you're in Quick Look full screen mode, Command-Tab to another application and then Command-Tab back to Finder. You'll now find that you can navigate your folder using the left and right arrow keys.

Seems strange, but the 10.5.1 is coming soon..!

The copy from Quick look actually works just like Cmd C an image file in the Finder and paste into an open file.

Do we really need both CoverFlow and QuickLook? And none of them have a actual pixel veiw? Everything gets blurry...
