10.4: Ease Aperture-to-blog process via Automator Apps
I have created an Automator workflow to export selected images from Aperture in two sizes (thumbnail and fullsize), upload them to your FTP site, and copy the HTML code (including the paths to the files) into the clipboard. This saves quite some time when publishing photos to your website/blog.

You can download the Automator workflow from my site [8KB] [macosxhints mirror]. You'll also need Peter Dekker's UploadToFTP Automator action, which you can find here on Apple's site. You'll have to fill in your FTP details in the two Upload to FTP action boxes, and tweak some other settings to match your system, in order to get the workflow running.

[robg adds: I downloaded the workflow and took a look at it, and it's relatively self-explanatory. The hidden find in this hint may be the UploadToFTP action, which you can install and use in any workflow. Transmit includes an action of its own, but if you don't own Transmit, this is one way to use FTP upload in Automator. Note that the download is only available from Apple's site; there's a download link on Peter Dekker's page, but it's broken.]
