- Control-F3 will show all windows from the current application
- Option-F3 will open Exposé's preferences
- Command-F3 will show the desktop.

On the new aluminum keyboard, there's an Exposé control key -- F3, which shows all windows. If you'd like to use the other Exposé modes, you can do so by using F3 with modifier keys:

i don't have the new keyboard, but did anyone notice that when you manually try to assign a different button for expose in the keyboard settings, it reverts to the defaults when you restart? I was wondering if anyone knew a work-around?

Bah! I still like F3 as "copy." Why is a two-key action better? Or am I the only one old enough to remember that mac KBs should map:

Yes, I use Butler to make sure that all apps behave like this.

Am I the only old enough to remember that Mac keyboards don't need no stinkin' function keys? The addition of a control key was nice... and the escape key. Nothing north of that, though! :-) ---

I assigned all Exposé modes to the keys in the top right corner (F16-F19) since I did not want to change the way of working I has with my old Powerbook.

Also note that on the new iMac, holding the function key in conjuction with the old shortcuts works. I like the new shortcuts better though - no need to let go of the mouse and my left hand doesn't need to travel very far.

Ctrl-'Expose' doesn't show me all windows on my machine. Anyone else having this problem?

Control-F3 doesn't work for me either. The other keys combinations do.
