A simple pick this week that adds a useful feature to Mail: the ability to follow up on an email you've previously sent. I ran across this one in last week's Mac Gems column, where Dan Frakes covered it in detail. This simple plug-in adds a new Followup option to Mail's contextual menu. With a sent message selected, pick Followup from the contextual menu, and Mail will open a new mail message with your original text pasted in quoted form, and the subject modified with re: at the beginning. This is useful when you want to, um, "remind" a correspondent that they may owe you something based on the email you sent three months ago (not that I've ever been guilty of such slow email handling, mind you!).

Yes, you can fairly easily do this manually. But why bother, when a free plug-in makes it so simple. If you need more detail on the plug-in, read the above-linked Mac Gems column (Dan covers a couple of additional Mail plug-ins as well).
