How to download data from an LG VX8100 via Bluetooth Phones
If you've got an LG VX8100 phone, here's how to download files from it to your Mac via Bluetooth. First, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, then connect your Mac and the phone via Bluetooth.

Next, you'll need to download and install BitPim, which you can then use to download pictures, videos, address book entries, calendar, text messages, and more.

Unfortunately BitPim doesn't work with the LG CU500, which Cingular is pushing now.

How in the world does this qualify as a hint? OK, here's a similar hint for everyone.

Title: How to use Mac OS X to keep track of appointments and TODOs.

Hint: In Mac OS X, open iCal. Then you will be able to create appointments in the calendar and TODOs in the TODO list etc.

The ratio of actual good hints to fluff like this is decreasing making it harder and harder to find the useful stuff.

How is this a useful hint? Simple: Every indication from Apple's programs and most others is that the phone can be detected but can't actually do anything. There's no guidance on what to do to make it work. I was about to give up before finding this in google. So just because it's not relevant to you...
