Add Safari-like Bookmark shortcut keys to Firefox Web Browsers
The Firefox extension Bookmark Keys will allow you to select bookmarks on your Firefox bookmarks toolbar using Control-[1 to 9]. Safari has had this feature for a long time, and I find it very useful. Now Firefox has it, too.

[robg adds: I generally don't run pointers to individual Firefox extensions as hints (mainly because there are so many of them, and everyone's needs will be different). However, given the popularity of Safari and the convenience of the feature, I though I'd run this one. The only downside that I see with the extension is that it doesn't add the shortcut next to the bookmark's name in the Bookmarks menu, so you'll have to remember what Control-7 opens -- this is more difficult if, like me, you have individual sites and folders intermingled on your bookmarks bar.]

I've been looking for something like this for ages - muscle memory is a powerful force. If you have the keyconfig extension installed you can remap the quickkey for each bookmark location to whatever you want, including the Safari default command+#.

The main problem with this extension is that it doesn't trigger all bookmarks the same way. For example, I can't get this to work with the del.icio.us bookmarklet or the Movable Type "post this" bookmarklet, but it does work with some other bookmarklets.

Unfortunately there's no contact info for this extension's author, so there's no way to let him know of this issue. It's a good first step, at any rate.

Open all links in a bookmark folders from the bookmark bar

I don't know whether to classify this is a bug or feature of this extension, but if you have a folder of links in your bookmark bar, and select it using the control-# shortcut, all the links enclosed in the folder will be opened.

This is certainly useful to some of us, but is different from the Safari behavior, where only links are given shortcuts.

We recently launched a site developed in .net. We claimed it will work on both windows and Mac machines untill we encountered an issue with a particular letter, The letter "t". It sounded very strange when few reported to me about this issue. The issue is when you type on any text fields the letter small "t" is not visible. I started researching on net and to my surprise I didnt any issue or solution related to this. I read in a blog that ebay had a similar problem with Safari browser but there is no solution given.

Whatever it is when so many website work in safari why not my site, i am pretty sure i am using something which Safari renders it wrong. Had anyone come accross similar issues or can any suggest me what could be wrong here!!!
