10.4: Jump to a program's scripts folder from the menu System 10.4
If you go to the Scripts icon in the main menu bar, and look in the 'Open Scripts Folder' entry, you'll now see an entry for the current application:

If you select this menu item for a program that doesn't have any application-specific scripts, the system will create a new folder for that app in the user's Library -> Scripts folder. Interesting.

[robg adds: This is definitely new with 10.4.8; it does not exist on a 10.4.7 test machine we have at Macworld. ]

I tried it with Firefox. It created a new folder, but it was in the user's > Library/Scripts/Applications/ folder.

It's definitely _not_ new. I've been using this feature through a number of OS X revisions, though as tknipp points out, it creates folders in ~/Library/Scripts/Applications.

Maybe there's something else in the mix?

Yeah, this isn't a new feature, I've been using it for a while.

Oddly, I found my ~/Library/Scripts/Applications folder owned by System. So I wasn't able to use the hint to add a folder until I changed the ownership to me. After that, the hint worked fine. I have 10.4.8 on a PPC 12"PB. Not sure what messed up the permissions.
