If you are using Adobe's Photoshop Lightroom for editing your images, and using Flickr as your photo sharing service, there is no direct way to upload your images. The easiest way I found is to export using Flickr Uploadr (Flickr login required).
In the Lightroom Preferences, change your Additional External Editor to Flickr Uploadr. (Don't worry, your option to edit in Photoshop won't be affected.) When you finish editing, export your image(s) from the File menu or from the Navigator. In the Post-processing option at the bottom of the export page, choose Flickr Uploadr as the performed action. Press Export, and the images will come up in your Flickr Uploadr application. Now they're ready to be exported to Flickr!
Notice that your Keywords will not be exported and that you cannot export with 'Edit in Flickr Uploadr' option in Photo menu, because it will try to send Tiff images, and it just won't work.
