iTunes 7 volume control shortcut for mini windows

For eons now, I have enjoyed being able to simply use the up/down arrow keys to control the volume of iTunes when it was in its mini (tiny window) mode. But now ... with the universe about to implode ... iTunes 7 changes everything! Okay, I'm being a little dramatic, but it had me confused for a few seconds as I mashed the keys and nothing happened.

With iTunes 7, the keyboard shortcut for volume control while iTunes is in mini mode is no longer simply the up/down arrow keys. You now have to use two fingers (or two hands) and hold the Command key and then press the up/down arrow key. Not sure what evil possessed the iTunes team to make a fundamental change like that, given that there is nothing else (that I can tell from mini mode) that could be controlled with just the up/down arrow keys.

I will now return to my corner and sob uncontrollably for the rest of the day given that they also removed the beloved throbbing nuclear burn icon!

[robg adds: This is documented in iTunes' Help -> Keyboard Shortcuts list, but I know a fair number of people (myself included) won't think to look there without prompting. I suspect they made the change so that the shortcut would work in any iTunes window mode, not just the mini mode...]
