View and use info on skipped iTunes 7 tracks Apps
iTunes 7 now keeps track of the frequency (Skip Count) and last date of skipping (Last Skipped). Two more useful smart playlist criteria to weed out seldom listened-to tracks.

[robg adds: Control-click on the column headers to add either of these to the displayed columns...I'm particularly pleased with the skip count feature, and have already put it to use in a couple of smart playlists.]

Do older iPods (such as the Mini) report skip counts back to iTunes after syncing? Just by browsing through my list of skipped tracks I wasn't entirely sure.

I've got a 4G iPod and the iPod, on its own, doesn't seem to track that info. When it's plugged into the computer, iTunes is tracking it, but that's the only time. Does Apple have any sort of an update to allow that tracking?
