Use Command-tab features on non-English keyboards

I switch applications with Command-Tab (waiting for Spaces in 10.5!). But, sometimes I want to quit an application during this process. I know it's possible for you English or American users to do this by pressing Q when the application you wish to quit is highlighted. But for us French people, it does not work with the usual Q key.

So what to do? Buy LittleSwitch X, for example? Or try every letter on the keyboard. And that's what I have done: try the letter A; it works!

[robg adds: I asked some friends with non-English keyboards, and after some experimentation, it seems the OS is looking for the key that is in the position of the Q (and H, if you want to hide an app) keys. So on the French keyboards, the A key is where the Q is on an English keyboard -- immediately to the right of the Tab key. At least, this is why we think this works; if you have more knowledge about the subject, please post your comments.]
