If you're chatting with a buddy in iChat and want to send them a web link to click on, you could switch to Safari and copy the URL, then switch back to iChat and paste it. But you can also drag and drop the URL without having to switch apps. With iChat in the foreground and Safari in the background, hold down the Command key and click and drag the URL icon (which is either the site's favicon or the default blue globe) from Safari's URL bar into your iChat text entry area. This will also make the linked text the title of the page instead of an ungainly URL.

The Command key will also let you switch tabs in Safari while keeping it in the background, so you can drag and drop a number of Web links into your chat.
