Use iSnip for quick short-term note taking

I use iSnip, a clipboard utility that remembers a recent list of things copied to the clipboard. Because the menu shows the text I just copied, I use it as a very quick note taker. This is the quickest, easiest way I've found to make short-term notes.

Say I'm answering a few emails, and need to keep looking at things I recently wrote. All I do is copy those things while I've got them in front of me. A few minutes later, when I need to remind myself what Doktor X wrote, or what I wrote, I hit the iSnip menu. Same goes for snippets of text from Help. I copy the text from a Help window in case I'll need it in a few minutes. If I do, I click the iSnip menu, and there it is.

This has turned out to be far faster than Stickies or text files, and handy for stuff that's only worth keeping around for the short-term. Obviously, this will work with any "multi-clipboard" type utility that lets you display a menu showing the recently-copied items.
