If you are having weird time-zone problems with Google Calendar, try changing the time zone, saving, then changing back to the correct time zone again. For good measure, do this with both the setting under the General tab and the one for your calendar.

This solved a problem I had when I switched to Google Calendar. I exported the calendar to an .ics file, then imported it to Google. I then used iWebCal to provide a link to the calendar (so that anybody could browse it). However, iWebCal displayed all the appointments in Greenwich Mean Time. The problem was that somewhere along the way (I think it was during the initial import to Google) the .ics file changed all times to GMT. This wasn't actually incorrect, since the .ics file also identified its local time zone correctly, but iWebCal apparently isn't set up to handle the particular method used. Resetting the file as described above solved the problem.
