I was asked by a friend to help him make the setup tune that is played when you first install Tiger as his phone's ringtone. After a lot of digging I found the location of the sound file (an MP3), and the movie (a QuickTime movie). I couldn't find this documented anywhere, so thought I would share it here.
From the Finder select Go -> Go to Folder (or hit Shift-Command-G), and then paste the following:
/System/Library/CoreServices/Setup Assistant.app/Contents/Resources/TransitionSection.bundle/Contents/Resources/
(That's one long line, and should copy properly, even if your browser shows it on two lines). The two files are intro-sound.mp3 and intro.mov. Have fun.
[robg adds: Amazingly, we've never documented these files' location before, though we discussed the original version of the music in a much older hint. You can combine the two files into a new movie with sound using QuickTime Pro (or iMovie HD, I imagine).]
