I couldn't find anything about this online, but it might be old news. I found out that I can drag and drop calendar items from the Entourage calendar view right into my iCal window. I tried dragging to the icon of iCal, and that didn't seem to work.

Drag to Ical icon with ...
You can drag an Entourage calendar item onto the iCal icon (on the Dock or in the Finder) by holding the command and option keys. (Recall that this is the key combination that forces an app to open a file.) ICal starts (if not already running) and prompts you for the calendar to which the event should be added.
Or enable sync with new Entourage
Or you can turn on synchronisation between the new Entourage and iCal... That way it automagically synchronizes all (if desired). |
