Use Saft and Acid Search together
This really is too funny!!! In the past week I've been emailing both devs in regards to this annoyance. This seemed to have worked, I went through it just as you stated; the only extra step you should add is to export your AD-Blocker rules, because once you delete the com.apple.Safari.plist it defaults Saft's AD-Blocker.
Use Saft and Acid Search together
because once you delete the com.apple.Safari.plist it defaults Saft's AD-Blocker... and all of Safari's preferences so it's wise to make note of any non-default settings before deleting that plist. Other plugins (e.g. PithHelmet and Sogudi) also store preferences there. Anyone aware of technical reasons why these plugins share Safari's preference file instead of using their own?
