Remove a delay when loading Mail folders on launch

I was annoyed at Apple's Mail application slow loading of my only five folders with some hundreds of messages in them on application start-up. It took ages until it recognized all the folders.

I do not know whether it depends on the size of the folders or not, but there was always a long delay on simply displaying them. Here's my solution to this problem:

  1. Create a new single folder
  2. Move all the custom folders into this folder
That's it!

[robg adds: I haven't experienced any slowdowns on mail folder display when launching Mail, and I have something on the order of 40 folders visible at launch. I posted this one in case this is a problem that I just haven't personally seen.]
