Prevent a DiskWarrior crash before saving reports

I have been using DiskWarrior to do repairs and maintenance on some FireWire-connected drives of mine, but was experiencing a problem with it crashing before it got the chance to save the report.

After this happened repeatedly, I decided to do some searching online. After visiting Alsoft's (completely useless) support site, I did a quick search on Google and found this fix:

  1. Quit DiskWarrior if it is running.
  2. Select the DiskWarrior app in the Finder, control-click on it, and select Show Package Contents from the pop-up menu.
  3. Navigate into Diskwarrior -> Contents -> Resources.
  4. Change the name of the file Complete.aiff to Alert Complete.aiff.
I don't quite understand why that makes a difference, but it works.
