Fix a networked file issue in Creative Suite 2

I had a client run into an odd problem in Adobe Creative Suite 2 applications. She could browse to a specific file on a Samba share, but when she attempted to open or place the document, she would get an error complaining either about a locked file, or an unavailable filter.

It turns out the problem was that her local hard drive was named the same as her Samba share. The fix was to rename the local hard drive to a different name. I would assume that this applies to all types of volumes/media that have duplicate names.
