A bit of self-promotion, but I am sure lots of you might be interested. I spent so many hours researching trial-and-erroring last weekend, so I decided to make an "end of seeking" for all of you.

I set up a website with a step-by-step explanation on how to make almost any modern cell phone iSync-ready. All that's required is modifying a plug-in script that you may download for free from the site. In most cases, your phone will sync iCal and Address Book at the least. There are existing scripts for the following phones: Nokia N70, N90, 6670; Sony Ericsson W550(i), W900; Motorola E1000, RAZR V3i, C350; Siemens S65. If you have a different phone, there are instructions on how to add your own phone. There's also a forum for FAQs.

[robg adds: I haven't tested this plug-in, so I can't vouch for it. However, given the popularity of 'Make phone XYZ work with iSync' hints here, I figured this was worth sharing. If someone tries it out, please post your experiences in the comments.]
