To make the iPhoto6 photocast announcement more friendly to Windows users, since they are having trouble viewing Photocasts with many of the readers out there, I have modified the Localizable.strings file to construct a more informative announcement. I created a new entry for the AlbumPublishAnnountEmailBody variable.
This modified entry produces this email:

Hello,Hope this helps; it's saved me some embarrassment when I published some Photocasts.
I've published a Photocast using iPhoto that I'd like to share with you. To subscribe, just click on the following link:
http://photocast.mac.com/path/to/photocast/index.rss
If you have iPhoto 6, this Photocast will appear in your iPhoto Source list and you can use its photos just like any other photos in your library; for slideshows, your desktop, custom photo books, etc. For Windows users, please change the word photocast in the link above to web (i.e. http://photocast.mac.com becomes http://web.mac.com/) in the link to make sure it works correctly in your reader. Now whenever you are connected to the Internet, iPhoto or your RSS Reader will automatically update this Photocast so you see the latest photos I've added.
If you don't have iPhoto 6, you can view the photos in this Photocast with Safari RSS or any compatible RSS reader on Mac, Windows or other computers by using the link above. A Windows-compatible IMAGE CAPABLE RSS reader can be found here:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/feedreader/FeedReader290Setup.exe?use_mirror=kent
Just click on the photocast link above, or copy it into the URL field of your RSS reader, and bookmark the URL to return to return to the photos in the future.
Note: If this Photocast is password protected, please contact me for the username and password.
