Just a helpful hint for any new iPod with Video owners out there. I wanted a way to move video podcasts that were not originally formatted for the video-enabled iPod onto it, while still keeping the videos in the podcasts list. Since I was unable to find a method for manually adding items into a podcast list, I came up with this simple solution.

First find where the video is stored on your drive, and then use Quicktime Pro to convert the video into an iPod-compatible format (320x240). Then take the moviename.m4v file and just rename it to moviename.mov (or whatever the original format was called), and copy it back to the folder where the original file was, replacing the old file. Now it should play just fine in iTunes and on your iPod, and still keep all the original info and be listed in your podcast directory.
