On a recent hunt through my hard drive in search of missing disk space, I discovered an unlikely suspect: Adobe Camera Raw. My Library -> Caches -> Adobe Camera Raw folder had swollen to over 729 items, resulting in a total of 2.8gb of lost space.
Anybody else shooting in raw and using Photoshop CS2 to process their images might want to take a close look at their cache file as well. I would have suspected a cache entry to be deleted once the image had been processed (who processes the same raw image twice?), but I would have suspected wrongly. I simply deleted mine with no adverse effects.
