Extract a PICT version of any Keynote slide

Simply drag the thumbnail of the slide from the leftmost column in Keynote's Navigator view to the Desktop, or any other visible Finder window.

[robg adds: On my machine (10.4.2, Keynote 2.0.2), this creates a "Picture Clipping" file. If you need an actual image file, you'll need to open the clipping, hit Command-C to copy it, then switch to Preview and choose File: New from Clipboard. You can then save the image back out to a file; the default format is PICT, but you can choose any of the formats that Preview supports. Of course, you can do all this directly from Keynote using its File: Export menu, but there are a few more steps required if you just want one slide.]
