Simply drag the thumbnail of the slide from the leftmost column in Keynote's Navigator view to the Desktop, or any other visible Finder window.

If you need an actual image file, you'll need to open the clipping, hit Command-C to copy it, then switch to Preview and choose File: New from Clipboard. You can then save the image back out to a file; the default format is PICT, but you can choose any of the formats that Preview supports. Of course, you can do all this directly from Keynote using its File: Export menu, but there are a few more steps required if you just want one slide.]
