10.4: Color management for picture files via ColorSync

Tiger only hintIn OS X 10.4 Tiger you can open image files directly in ColorSync, and then add, change, and embed ICC profiles in the images and save the changed images.

Open ColorSync, go to File -> Open and open TIFs, JPGs, PDFs, and maybe even more. Observe the Drop Down Menu at the bottom of the image window, and I think the rest is self explanatory. With Automator, you could even batch changes to many images at once.
